FACT FINDING TECHNIQUE:

To study the entire club Process a few of the fact finding

techniques where used. They are listed as under:-

1. Interview
Interview of all the staff members was taken in order to know
the existing system. The owner explained the entire
procedure followed for the Health club process. They provide
you a complete knowledge of all inputs (goods) received from
different customers, company the material transported and
reports submitted.

2. Document Study
The documents and registers maintained by Optimum health
club were studied. The studied are listed below: Bill , member
records and books of records where the actual process were
recorded are studied in detail.

3. Observation
To study the actual process of club, an entire day was spent to
observe the activities and procedure followed. The way of
working of staff members and the way data received were
processed.

All above methods have proved to be very helpful in order to

gain a lot of knowledge about the entire process followed by
Optimum health club.

18
Health Club Management

The feasibility study is carried out to select the best system that meets
performance requirements. This entails identification, description and
evaluation of candidate system and selection of the best system for the
task. Feasibility analysis is the study of economic, technical and
behavior factors in the system.
1. Technical feasibility: checks for the existing hardware and
software and to what extent it can support the existing addition.
New machine is needed to be purchased and management is
ready to incur this cost for getting the benefits of fully
computerized system. So the proposed system is technically
feasible.
2. Economic Feasibility: checks for the cost benefit analysis of the
candidate. Keeping two or more people to maintain book keeping
and transactional records it is more affordable to install software
on a single machine and a single person handling the process by
sitting at one place. So the proposed system is economically
feasible.

Health Club Management

ADVANTAGES
A commercial organization for meeting its goal tries to use various tools
so that the best possible results can be achieved. The selected tools
should be dynamic enough to negate the draw backs of old
conventional system and at the same time, it can fulfill necessities of
the organization.

The most appropriate tools in this direction is computerization. Its

advantages are as describe below:

 It saves time and Manpower cost.

 It is fact and correct based on the given date.
 It gives comprehensive and valuable information to the
management for decision making.
 Various queries are available.
 Existing system gives some report.

48
Health Club Management

LIMITATIONS
The system though fulfills all the requirement of the end users. The
system has certain limitations. As we know that no computer system is
hundred percent correct. However, maximum care has been taken to
satisfy the users of the system.

The limitations of system that could not be tackled or overcome as

follows:

 Though the initial login checks the authentication, the

password can be hacked.
 The users if not properly trained, might use the system in a
wrong way or in a way is unadvisable and change the basic
working conditions.
 The system cannot undo the saved changes.
 There is no recovery mechanism for data if system crashes or
fails.
 Though the help is provided to help the user, it is unable for
the new
user to operate the system.

49
Health Club Management

FUTURE
ENHANCEMENT

50
Health Club Management

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

(1)Online system could reduce the manual work and physical entities
of the system.
(2)The system can be further enchanced by proposing an attendance
system.
(3)The system can be further enchanced by proposing an payrole
system.
(4)In future due to increase in records of database file, data
redundancy occurs.
(5)Inventory module can be included to keep track of occurance.
(6)Generation of financial reports financial hierarchical detailed
information about profit.
