Preface

A One Month summer training program is a part of two years Master of Business
Administration program of VITAM, BERHAMPUR and every student has to undergo internship
program in any business field for the deep understanding of management concepts. I have the
privilege of receiving my internship in Southern Electricity Supply Company of Odisha,
Berhampur.

During summer training I have worked on the project “RECRUITMENT AND


SELECTION PROCESS OF ALKEM LABOROTORY”.

Being a student of management, this internship program contributed me a lot in gaining


practical knowledge about the actual business environment. It gave me an insight into the working
of manufacturing plants and also enabled me to supplement with practical knowledge as working.

The enclosed report present the details about Recruitment and Selection process of Alkem
Lab, based on my observation & discussion with Executives at various level and the data given to
me.

This report may be helpful to understand the Recruitment and Selection Process of Alkem
Laborotory.

Last, I would like to thank to all those who have wished for my success in preparing this
summer training Report. Any complaints and suggestions for the improvement of my further study
will be heartily accepted.
