NARRATIVE REPORT on MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES

In a normal classroom set-up, every day, teachers face variety of students with different
personalities with different learning styles. Indeed, teacher plays a vital role in providing
varied activities that will cater the different needs of the learners. On this note, teachers
really need to be equipped with pedagogical approaches or strategies to cope with the
multi-faceted tasks and to address the needs of the students.

In view thereof, the school conducted a learning action cell entitled “Multiple Intelligences”
on July 6, 2018. The registration started between 1:00-1:30pm and the seminar proper was
started at 1:30. The master of ceremony, Christine D. David hosted the program along with
Ptr. Danilo Llames who led the invocation. An opening remarks was passionately delivered
by the School Head, Dr. Elenita S. Polidaro.

The seminar proper was facilitated by Dr. Jeffrey R. Yumang who stressed out the
importance of multiple intelligences of the learners in order to understand better the learning
needs of the learners. Moreover, the facilitator shared pedagogical strategies on
differentiated and developmentally appropriate opportunities to address the learners’
differences.

In summary, teachers were enlightened by the things that they need to consider in preparing
their individual lessons. The program ended with an Awarding of Certificates to the speaker
and the closing remark was spearheaded by Pilar G. Pena, Master Teacher I.

The training ended at 4:00 pm after some reminders and announcements.
