Course Description Earth Science is primarily the study of our planet, Earth. We will explore the composition of the
Earth, how it is constantly changing, and the forces that cause these changes. We will examine the Solar System and
the dynamic processes of Earth’s interior, surface, oceans, atmosphere, and the hydrosphere. Students will discover
and explain the cause Earth’s seasons and moon cycle, the formation of tides and currents, and how heat transfers.
