Natural Calamity : Flooding – due to continuous heavy rainfall

>January 24, 2018, 11 PM, in Poblacion, 17 puroks are flooded due to


continuous rainfall with 164 HHs/farmers affected.

>Jan. 24, 2018, 11 PM, Brgy Lower Malamote, 4 puroks with 30 HHs are
affected. 150 hectares of ricefields were submerged into water. Classes were
suspended

>January 24, 2018, 7-11Pm continuous rainfall, Brgy C. Malamote has 34


hectares of ricefields were submerged into water and there ae 45 farmers
were affected.

>January 24, 2018, 11Pm, Brgy. Dalapitan has 26 HHs will affected of
continuous rainfall and the water stagnant because of on-going
construction of national highways. The waterways goes to the residential
houses.

>January 25, 2018, 4:30 AM, Brgy. Taculen has 4 puroks with 30 HHs were
affected and 120 hectares of ricefields are flooded.

>January 25, 2018, 12:30AM, Brgy. Kilada has 5 puroks with 91 HHs are
affected
Man-Made Calamity:

1. Vehicular Accident
 Feb. 3, 2018, 12NN at Brgy. Bangbang, a 10-wheeler Dumptruck
loaded of gravel lose the brake and can caused of accident were his
load spilled out to the residential house along the national highway.
And the truck helper was dead on the spot.
 March 11, 2018, 8:25 PM at Brgy. Manubuan, a Nissan Navarra
traversing national highway, the driver lost his driving control and
accidentally collide into steel barrier of under construction bridge.
 March 12, 2018, 4:30AM at Brgy. Manubuan, a 2 single motors
bumped to each other. 1 victim was dead on the spot and 2 others
were brought to the Provincial Hospital in Amas.
 March 15, 2018, 6:40 AM, At Brgy. Manubuan, a Toyota Fortuner was
fallen accidentally under the bridge construction resulting due to
strong impact incurred to multiple damages.

2. Human-Induced
 Feb. 23, 2018, 8:30 PM at Brgy. Marbel, an armed conflict between
MILF and MNLF. There are 5 puroks/sitios with 415 resident families
were affected. LGUs validated and distributed food packs to the IDPs.
 Feb. 24, 2018, 9:30 Am at Brgy. Kidama, there was firefight incident
that caused of tension of 3 puroks with 149 families. This families
evacuated to the identified evacuation center of the barangay. LGU
validated and distributed food packs to the IDPs.
 May 28, 2018, 11:18PM. At Brgy. kilada, the PNP and Law Enforcement
agencies implemented search warrants to suspected person involved
in illegal drugs activities at Purok 9/sitio Biao. Because of tension, the
residents of purok 9 will panic and evacuated. There are 88 IDPs and
9 were dead during their operation. LGU and Kilada Brgy. Council
validated and distributed food packs to the IDPs.

3. Fire Incidents
 April 1, 2018, 5:00PM, a residential house was totally burned at Sitio
Maligaya, Brgy. Tamped. LGU gave Non Food item (NFI) to family
victim.
 April 2, 2018, 11:00PM, a residential house made of light materials was
totally burned at Brgy. Manubuan.
 April 9, 2018, 9:45AM, a residential house was totally burned at Brgy.
Ilian. LGu gave Non Food Items (NFI)
 June 22, 2018, 3:30PM, the on going construction residential house
was partially burned due to unattended fallen embers from welding
rod that fallen into foam bed at Brgy. Dalapitan
 July 16, 2018, 10PM, a residential house made of light materials was
totally burned . LGU gave Non Food Items.

Other accomplished Activities


 March 29-30, 2018, OPLAN SEMANA SANTA (Holy Thursday and
Good Friday) – MDRRMOs Staff with PNP, BFP, RHU personnel and
MERT were standby post at the Catholic Church. The MEDIC rendered
health services to the devoted catholic.
 April 26-28, 2018, Summer Kids Peace Camp held at MCES. There were
1,454 Grade 5 & 6 Students participated from the different
elementary schools in the municipality. MDRRMO Staff, MERT, RHU
Personnel, BFP and PNP were standby post for any ontoward incidents
happen during the 3 day activities.
 Conduct NSED Quarterly
1st Quarter – Feb. 15, 2018 – Manubuan ES , there are 238 students and
8 teachers participated
together with BFP and PNP
2nd Quarter- June 21, 2018- COSUCECO, there were 72 selected
employees will participated the
simultaneous earthquake drill with
BFP and PNP. MDRRMO staff will
conduct also a disaster orientations.
3rd Quarter- aug. 16, 2018 – Marbel ES, 495 students and 18 teachers
participated the earthquake drill with BFP and PNP.
4th Quarter-Nov. 15, 2018- looking for a pilot schools or
establishments.
 Aug. 10-12, 2018, assisting the Dep.Ed Nurses in case of emergency
during the Congressional Athletic Meet at Amas Capitol Ground.
MDRRMO established an Incident Command Post (ICP) at Amas
Capitol ground during the 3 day Congressional Athletic Meet. With
the MERT as RESPONDERS and RHU personnel as MEDIC.
 Aug. 22, 2018 , MDRRMO staff and MACSUs augment as responders
during the Provincial Athletic Meet as Amas Capitol ground.
 Distribution of IEC materials such as Flood, Landslide & Sinkhole
posters and CD to 40 schools HS & ES in the municipality. (Public and
Private)
 Installation of Steel Signages to the Flood, Landslide and Accident
prone areas;

This is reports :

I - Natural Calamity

1. Flooding - happen last January 24, 2018 at about 11 Pm. There are 5
barangays are flooded (LMalamote,Poblacion ,Taculen, Dalapitan
&Kilada). Some houses are submerge into water and other affected
are their agricultural areas.

II - Man-made Calamity

1. Human Induced / Armed Conflict – last February & May, 2018,


Because of tension in the sitios/puroks in the barangays, the
residents evacuated in the identified evacuation centers. We
validated and distributed food packs to the Internally Displaced
Persons(IDPs)
2. Fire Incidents – From April – July 2018, there are 5 families, victim of
fire in different barangays received a Non Food Items (NFI)
because their houses raised by fire. Their houses was totally
burned.

3. Vehicular Accidents – There were 4 vehicular incident reported and


assisted the victims, one(1) in Brgy. Bangbang where the truck
helper was dead on the spot and the driver brought to the nearest
hospital. And the three(3) VA happen at Barangay Manubuan
(particularly in the Manubuan bridge)

III - OTHER ACTIVITIES ACCOMPLISHED

 MDRRMO established Incident Command Post (ICP) together with the


MERT, RHU MEDICS, BFP & PNP during
- Oplan SEMANA SANTA at Catholic Church(MEDICS rendered
Blood Pressure services)
- SUMMER KIDS PEACE CAMP at Matalam Central Elem. School
(Standby post for any ontoward incident happen)
- CONGRESSIONAL and PROVINCIAL ATHLETIC MEET at
Provincial Capitol Ground
(Responders or MERT assisted the Athletes injuries for giving
first aid)
 Conducted Quarterly NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE
DRILL (NSED) with BFP & PNP
- 1st Quarter – Manubuan Elem. School(238 students & 8 teachers)
- 2nd Quarter – COSUCECO(72 selected employees)
- 3rd Quarter – Marbel Elem. School(495 students & 18 teachers)
