DBL's geotechnical and structural design submissions have issues. There is no competent person on site to perform geotechnical activities. The external geotechnical design manager has not attended review meetings. Comments conveyed to DBL's local design manager are not fully understood due to a lack of competence. The lead design engineer has left the project without a suitable replacement being proposed. The DDC project manager is also not on site as required by contract.

Point for Discussion regarding Geotech and Structural Design submissions from DBL

1. There is no competent person to execute Geotech activities at site.


2. Until now, Geotech design manager from External agency has not attended any
design review meeting.
3. Comments are conveyed through DRS as well as verbally to DBL’s local design
manager, however they are not competent enough to understand the objective of
query and its relevant solutions.
4. DBL’s Lead Design Engineer Mr.Vinod Vishwakarma has stopped responding to mails.
We understand that he has left the project. DBL should propose competent
candidate with required relevant experience for the position.
5. DDC’s Project manager is not in station as per contractual requirement.
