April Day 01
9:00 am Greetings (Introduction)
9:15 Circle time – Teacher to introduce New classroom to the children. Also educate them to take care of the cleanliness in and outside the classroom as its their classroom (1/2 an hour) 9:45 Concept Time – Standing line to be taken first in the air (children to move their hands vertically) then in notebook. (45 mins) 10:30 Lunch Time (along with table manners) ½ an hour 11:00 Story time Teachers should use some hand puppets and also include some children in and as story character to gain and increase their attention span. (1/2 an hour) 11:30 Recapitulation of the things done during the day. Also tell to revise at home by involving the parent. 1200 Free play time to good bye Day 02
9:00 am Greetings and free play
9:15 Introduction – left individual introduce him/herself as “My name is…………. And I live in…….” 9:45 Concept Time – Standing line - Start with drawing standing line in a sand trag - Note book standing line 10:30 Lunch Time - Encourage sharing, Chewing food properly - Encourage eating veggies along with their nutritional value. 11:00 Sensory Play – Blind fold one child and let ten children have different things of different texture in their hand. Help the blind folded child to reach the things & recognize. 11:30 Story time – repeat Yesterday’s story to drag and gain their attention as children love to involve in familiar things. In the end question session can be done related to recited story. 12:00 Recap of what ever done during the day & time to good bye. Day 03
9:00 am Greetings – How are you ? What did you do yesterday?
9:15 Short prayer & Circle Time - Discuss about “My Body” - Show them Cutouts. Teachers to randomly call but body parts children to touch them. 9:45 Concept Time – Standing line - Work in note book - Teachers to draw various figures which has maximum number of standing lines on board for fun and encourage them to draw standing line 10:30 Lunch Time - While children are busy eating their food teachers to keep talking to them about good eating habits and table manners. 11:00 Story / Poem time 11:30 Recaptultaion of the work done twing the day. 12:00 Its time to clean up the classroom, put the things back & good bye time. Day 04
9:00 am Greetings / Prayer
9:15 Circle Time – Action song to be sung by the teacher involving like – “touch your feet.” “ Put your right hand up”. All body parts to be included. 9:45 Concept Time – intro of letter ‘L’ and related picture correct. Written – Standing line in notebook. Teachers can also tell a story of Mr. ‘L’ 10:30 Lunch Time - Teachers to keep educating children about table manners & chewing food properly. Explain them – why is it important to chew food properly. 11:00 Sensory development – play do & molds , concept of pairing like we have two eyes etc. 11:30 Story time to be includes with sequential thinking, like what happened first & then what. 12:00 Recaptulation of the work done during the day clean up time & good bye. Day 05
9:00 am Greetings / Pre- primary wing tour to explore and high
usage of research to be taught. 9:15 Short prayer & circle time Children to introduce the child sitting next to him/her talk about body hygiene. 9:45 Concept Time – write standing line in work book. Pg. 7 (for c.w.), pg. 8 (for H.W.) Teachers to talk to students that this is your note book, should take care. Do not let your parent hold your hand, try and do it by yourself. 10:30 Lunch Time - spread napkin before you open lunch box, thank god for everything. 11:00 Story time – teachers to tell them story related to theme also show them flash cards. 11:30 Recaptulation – revise letter ‘L’ & also show them the chart of body parts and have a time. 12:00 Put the things back, clean up time & Good Bye Day 06

9:30 Rhyme time/ Circle time Talk to children about that tomorrow in Sunday and they should help their parent in household work 10:00 Concept Time – letter ‘L’ loral Colouring book and worksheet for H.W. 10:30 Lunch Time – Talk to students about the importance of eating salad.
11:00 General conversation – use simple English sentences like
– where is your water bottle, How many fingers do you have. Children should am was in full sentences intead one word. What is the name of your class teacher. 11:30 Recapitulation – revise standing line. Letter ‘L’ & body parts. 12:00 Put the things back, clean up time & good bye. Day 08
9:00 am Greetings / free play /prayer
9:15 Circle time – Recapitulate previous week’s work. Talk to them how was the Sunday? How many of you helped your parent? Teach them how should we greet if guest comes to our place. 9:45 Concept Time – Sleeping line, work is to be done note book. Teachers to help children move their hand horizontally in air first, then in notebook.
10:30 Lunch Time - Teachers to ask children the name of veggie
or dish they have brought.
11:00 Story time / poem
11:30 Recapitulate the work done. Motor skill – shoe lacing (toy) 12:00 Put the things back, clean up time & good bye. Day 09
9:00 am Greetings / free play /prayer
9:15 Circle time – Speak aloud the names of body parts – in rhythm, this is my hand, I do this with my hand, these are my fingers, I do this with them (with action) 9:45 Concept Time – Sleeping line, work is to be done note book. Along with teachers to keep orally practicing A to Z in sequence along with pictures.
10:30 Lunch Time - tell children to throw the wrapers in the
dustbin & do not waste food.
11:00 Story time / poem
11:30 Recapitulate the work done. Motor skill – shoe lacing (toy) 12:00 Put the things back, clean up time & good bye.
