VMware Vsphere 6

VMware vSphere 6.5 introduced in November 2016 includes improvements over vSphere 6.0 such as support for 576 physical CPUs per host compared to 480, 6 TB of virtual memory per VM rather than 4 TB, proactive HA instead of reactive HA, integrated containers, VM hardware version 13 instead of 11, and new features like cross-cloud vMotion and encryption of vMotion traffic. The vSphere 6.5 client is an HTML5 client while 6.0 used a C# client, and 6.5 added native vCenter backup and HA.
