Love Matters

Love is essential for human life and well-being. Without love, there would be no kindness, families, happiness or purpose. Love is what motivates good acts and positive growth. While women often express feelings openly, men tend to separate feelings from thoughts and are reluctant to discuss emotions, seeing it as a sign of weakness. However, men demonstrate care and affection through actions like ensuring a partner's safety. Both men and women are conditioned by society in how they should express gendered emotions, but understanding differences could help overcome frustrations in relationships.

Love Matters

“Life without love, is no life at all.”

Love matters, because love is more than a romantic relationship.Without love there would be no
acts of kindness, no passion, no families, no happiness, no positive growth, no good teachers. Love is
something we all require to live - it's a selfless energy that's bigger than life itself. If love did not exist
there would be no purpose for anything. Love is which all strive for. We as people all love whether its a
material item or spiritual but we all need it. We tend to love with out even knowing. As babies we don't
even know what love is but we love our mothers, fathers, friends, toys etc. We are made to love one way
or another. Love is our first instinct, hate is taught.

When it comes to talking about feelings, women can think and feel at the same time - while men
naturally separate their feelings from what they are thinking. This creates their reluctance to talk about
all that mushy stuff that women love to hash out. Almost every woman can run a talk show host. This is
exactly what men are intimidated with. For the most part, men feel that if they open up about their
feelings, women will put on their ‘psyche’ mode. They feel that saying the wrong-thing will put them in
a lot of trouble- that’s why they clam up. Now, men express their feelings through action more than
through words. For example, when going home together, making sure your home safe, it means that he
cares a lot about your safety. The cliche actions speak louder than words applies when it comes to men’s
feelings. Just because a guy doesn’t say what he feels out loud doesn’t mean the love isn’t there. Society
conditions men, as Mr. Casan said. Women aren't the only ones who are urged to behave in certain ways
due to their gender. Men are also conditioned to behave in certain ways by the media, their friends, and
family. They believe that they aren't supposed to show their feelings, and so they don't. Since men aren't
conditioned to express their feelings, they might not know how. It's hard for someone to blurt out their
innermost thoughts when they've always kept them a secret. It's hard for them to change if they don't
know how to do so.

Men get annoyed at women for being frustratingly indirect, while women get upset with men for
being insensitive. Women are more prone to talk about what they are thinking and feeling, and to
demonstrate how they are feeling with their tears, facial expressions, hand gestures, and body language.
Many women seem to be more comfortable figuring out how they feel by talking through it. Men,
generally speaking, tend to process their emotions inwardly. Many times, they don’t know exactly how
they feel, so they try to figure it out on their own—inside their head. Some men are afraid of their
emotions and keep them buried inside in order to protect themselves from looking weak. Little do they
know, that most women would accept and understand (or even appreciate) an expression of their
emotion.
Men love to have their abilities recognized and appreciated, and hate to have them scorned or ignored;
women love to have their feelings recognized and appreciated, and hate to have them scorned or
ignored. Men don't rate feelings highly as in their view they can result in hotly impassioned, wildly
unstable behavior; women don't rate abilities highly as in their view they can result in coldly
dispassionate, aggressively competitive behavior. Men like to work on their own, and exercise their
abilities by solving problems quickly and singlehandedly; women like to co-operate, and exercise their
feelings through interactive communication with one another. Men value solutions, and view unsolicited
assistance as undermining their effort to solve problems alone; women value assistance, and view
unsolicited solutions as undermining their effort to proceed interactively. Men desire that their solutions
will be appreciated; women desire that their assistance will be appreciated.
