SWOT АNАLYSIS
SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis) is a
structure for defining and evaluating inner and external variables that can affect
the viability of a venture, item, location or individual.
SWOT analysis is most frequently used by business entities, but it is also used
by non-profit organizations and, to a lower extent, people for private evaluation.
It can also be used to evaluate initiatives, goods or projects.
The context is referred to Albert Humphrey, who tried the strategy at the
Stanford Research Institute in the 1960s and 1970s. Developed for company and
relying on information from Fortune 500 companies, the SWOT analysis was
embraced as a decision-making assistance by organisations of all kinds.

FINDINGS AND SUGGESTIONS
Problems that are faced by me as an intern:
Hesitant to ask questions
Industry guide is CA of the company so due to this designation of him
many a times I hesitate to ask questions.
Self Management issue
It was difficult to manage office work with company report as I needed
separate time to devote for the operational functions for the company.
Unnoticed work
Work done was unnoticed after giving the best and working hard for the
given task.
Time Management issue
It was difficult to manage time as one of the given tasks was submitted by
me after two days from the given date.
Suggestions to the problems can be:
Industry guide should take care of the amount of work and type of work
he is giving to intern so as to avoid indulging intern in any kind of clerk
work.
Company should form separate policies for intern so as to give them
proper training.
A separate guide should be there to train the interns in every department
who could devote his time in checking the work done by intern.
Work done should be justified as per the training he/she requires as an
intern.

CHAPTER – 6
CONCLUSIONS AND RESULTS
Internship is a really good program as it helped me to enhance and develop my
skills, abilities and knowledge. Thomson Press (India) Limited a good place to
do the internship since it provides numerous benefits and advantages to
practical trainees. I feel lucky to work here as this was the place of my first
experience and I had no idea of the challenges to be faced after putting my foot
in professional world. They provide me with their own places and several
accommodations such as laptops and Wi-Fi. The treatment by the company was
equitable and professional. I have learned from the different units and different
people. I think the six weeks duration for the internship was not enough for me
to learn more in detail about the job. One main thing that I have learned through
this internship is time management as well as self-motivation.
