IMPORTANTE: -es

En afirmativa se añade -s a la 3ª persona del singular, pero algunos verbos añaden –es

Esos son los que acaban en :

ss, sh,ch,x,o:

miss - he misses wash - he washes do - she does go - she goes

consonte + y : Se cambia la y por i y se añade -es

study - he studies fly - she flies cry - she cries

PERO:

Play - she plays enjoy - he enjoys


USOS DEL PRESENTE SIMPLE:

- Se usa para expresar rutinas, hábitos y horarios.


I have breakfast at 8 o´clock. You play football on Monday.

- Se usa para expresar gustos y opinions.


We like tennis.

- Se usa para verdades generales.


Liverpool is in England.

ADVERBIOS DE FRECUENCIA: SIEMPRE PRESENTE SIMPLE

always (siempre) often (a menudo) never (nunca)

usually (normalmente) sometimes (a veces) rarely ( rara vez)

- Siempre van delante del verbo,excepto en el caso del verbo to be, van detrás.
- Ej: You always play tennis. He is always happy.

EXPRESIONES DE TIEMPO: SIEMPRE PRESENTE SIMPLE

- every day, week, year, (todos/as los días / las semanas / los años)
- once, twice a year ( una / dos veces al año)
- three times, four times a week ( tres / cuatro veces a la semana)
- on Monday, on Tuesday,….

STATIVE VERBS: SIEMPRE PRESENTE SIMPLE

Like, love, hate, want, know, understand, believe, smell, cost, prefer, need.

Have except have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner, have a shower, have a bath

Think (pensar, creer) si significa creer es estático
