( teacher will narrate the story)

C. Analysis(7minutes)

What can you say about the story?

The story is about the poor couple and the rich
man who happens to be neighbors and because of
the selfishness of the rich man he want the poor
couple to pay for the smell of their chicken adodo
because he believes that it is only for his family.
Who are the characters in the story?
Ulam – the poor man and husband of Himig.
Himig – wife of Ulam
The rich man – who sued Ulam for stealing the
smell of adobo
Judge – who give punishment to Ulam
How will you describe Ulam and
Himig in the story? Ulam and Himig are really perfect couple even
they are poor but they are happy and contented
with it.
How will you describe the rich man in
the story? He is very greedy and not willing to share his
blessings with other people.

What is your favorite part of the story?

My favorite part is when the judge let Ulam to pay
for his sin with the sound of the coin. It insult the
rich man and it is really funny for me, I did not
expect that it will happen.
What have you learned from the story?
Do not be selfish, share to others all your blessings
and also the golden rule “ Do not do unto others
what you do not want do unto you” meaning treat
people the way you want to be treated because in
the story the judge just make things fair to Ulam,
since the rich man is wise the judge is wiser than
him as if he think of a solution that the rich man
cannot complain anymore.

D. Abstraction (7minutes)
At first I will feel mad at him but later on I will
If you were Ulam, what would feel laugh at him because he made the simple thing
about the accusation of the rich man to very complicated to the point that we need to go in
you? the court just because of the smell of adobo.

I will not go to the court and waste my time to that

Would you the same thing as what non sense thing because I believe that I did not
Ulam did in the story? Why? done anything wrong to the rich man and with the
family. I will just defend myself to him during our
confrontation.

Yes, I did not give answer to my friend during our

Have you experienced being selfish examination, I think I am being selfish there but
to others? In what way? on a positive side I did not let her to copy my
answer because I want her to study in her own.
