ABOUT US
The Department of Physics at IIT Patna established in August, 2008 is
committed to impart high quality education in Physics at Undergraduate and
Postgraduate levels.
This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills
necessary for a professional career or higher studies. This is done through
coursework Algorithm, Structure of C program, Solution of linear algebraic
equation, Boundary Value Problems, PDE through C programing, Scattering
theory & Relativistic Quantum Mechanics, Laser, Holography, Fiber Optic,
Basics in Quantum Electrodynamics, Classical molecular dynamics simulations,
The Quark Parton Mode, Introduction to Grand Unified Theories and many
others. The young and dynamic faculty members of the department have
