Smart Buoy What Does It Do?

The sensors on board the smart buoy enable it to
measure: wave height, wave period, wave power,
water temperature, air temperature, air pressure,
voltage, current usage and GPS location. In an ideal
world, it would also have measured wave direction -
based on the measurements it was able to take, we
were quite close to making it work. However, it
turned out to be pretty complicated and it’s actually
a massive problem in the actual research community.

C++ Templates Templates are a powerful feature of the C++

Code but their syntax can be complex. This causes some
developers to not use them, while others are
concerned that templates might cause bloat to the
compiled code.

I will explain how templates work and how you may

use them in your code. Although the examples I
provide are for the Arduino Uno, the concepts will
work with any platform and with all modern C++

readings during the calibration process. It is easiest
to
calibrate the device in its default state (UART mode,
with continuous readings enabled). Switching the
device to I2C mode after calibration will not affect
the stored calibration. If the device must be
calibrated in I2C mode, be sure to continuously
request readings so you can see the output from
the probe. In this tutorial, the calibration will be
done in
UART mode.

there any other finger print sensor compatible for this project?
3)very helpful project can you explain code in more details

1)Great job! The devices must really chafe though, skin contact and
all. I wonder if having a belt thing like those workout fitness trackers
do would be even better?
2)God bless you ma friend. Your project can help a lot of people.

2)Good one, Jar! lol! Yes, with this piano, you can just
imagine/pretend playing it! But you can also program in
your tune if you can't play well - your neighbors will still
like it (provided you program in a tune they like!)

1)Well... There's this thing already, called a TESTER..

2)It’s really not what’s out there or someone figured this out already
or what’s in market. This website is for tinkerers,
alike thinkers who tries to figure things out and have fun
while learning. You have done both, and now I am learning
from you; that is the value! Bravo and thank you for posting
3)I love this project. I’m going to build one. Looks very handy.
4)Why a lot of people are complaining? this is a nice project, we all
know you can use testers, color code... This just a DIY, fun and
practical way, keep it up.
5)Nice! I like it....
1)Exceptionally well-documented project. If more projects
were documented this well, the world would be a much
better place. Nicely done. Congrats.
2)WOW - Well done

Very well done, and a nice way to really dress up a simple

circuit. I like the flexibility and additional functionality, but
what I admire most is your decision not to go overboard
with bells and whistles - and you knew when to stop
tinkering (at least long enough to document the project
well). Kudos!

3)Great project Dmitry thanks for sharing ! I would like to try it my

4)Wow, that is long wait for me...i need to deliver a project until end
of august... I dont need to do something so fancy like yours cause is
my first quarter on servo-robots and arduinos. But i thought to do
your project because my professor have serious heart issues..... I
guess i will try something that i get all the parts more easily.. thank
you so much for you time.
hello I hope you're fine? I love your initiative and I would like to

1)I just read this post and it looks really interesting. Is it feasible to
connect hardly 3 buoys like a triangle with 2 meters as side and
anchor at least two bouoys? If so, the wave directions could be
somehow estimated.

That way you can tell it what to go grab (e.g. go grab the dog!) and it'll

around October, if you're interested. More updates here:
https://hackaday.io/project/163679-luxonis-depthai

And a video of kind-of what it will look like, but the final version is
30FPS instead of 3FPS shown below in our hacked-together-
prototype:
https://discuss.luxonis.com/d/10-this-is-what-depthai-sees

(The reason it's 3FPS there is the Myriad X hardware accelerators

can't be used in how we put that system together, so the Raspberry Pi
CPU does a lot of the work, maxing it out and limiting the framerate,
in our final system the full power of the X is used, bumping the
framerate to 30FPS and leaving the Raspberry Pi CPU at 0% use.)

Good job on the over all problem solving and making a something

However with all these automatic pet feeders coming out, I have to
say
something. Auto feeding your pet is the equivalent of locking your
kids
in the basement until they grow up. I'm not saying that in a mean
way.
Dinner time, especially with cats is an important part of the tribe

l health. When you give them food, it's a sign of respect. It's a small
amount of time everyday, but the action is extremely important for
bonding with your pet. If you let a machine do this, you will not bond
in the same way. Your pet will not respect you like it will the machine
that feeds it.
