temporarily supplements the UL Follow-Up Services Procedure and serves as authorization to apply the
UL Mark at authorized factories under UL's Follow-Up Service Program. To provide your manufacturer(s)
with the intended authorization to use the UL Mark, you must send a copy of this notice to each
manufacturing location currently authorized under File E490068, Vol 1.

Records in the Follow-Up Services Procedure covering the product are now being prepared and will be
sent in the near future. Until then, this letter authorizes application of the UL Mark for 90 days from the
date indicated above.

ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR UL REPRESENTATIVE’S USE):

General - The products covered in this Report are Equipment Cabinets


intended to be installed in a computer room, an office or other commercial
environment. Cabinets that may be provided with optional shelves, casters,
locking front and rear doors with recessed handles. The units can be shipped
fully assembled or in sections with separate packages containing shelves,
casters, etc. equipment or ITE equipment in accordance with the Installation
Instructions of the National Electrical Code.

The equipment cabinet is provided with Main Protective Earthing


Terminal for connection to the mains power supply protective earthing
conductor. Required hardware, lock washers, and bolts are provided for
installation in the field by licensed electrician or qualified personnel.

USL/CNL indicates investigation to UL 2416 Standard For Audio/Video,


Information And Communication Technology Equipment Cabinet, Enclosure And
Rack Systems; and CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1-07 (2nd Edition + Amendment 1)
Information Technology Equipment Safety Part 1: General Requirements -
Edition 2 - Revision Date 2011/12/19, except that the shelves were not
evaluated to UL 2416, clauses 11.2 and 11.3.

Load Ratings for the Titan Frame series are as follows:

Static (on leveling feet)5400 lbs.

All rated capacities include roof loads (fan trays, cable troughs, cable
trays, cable ladders, cabling, etc.)

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

See Section General for additional details.

Corrosion Protection - The units are constructed of painted metal.

Operating / Instructions / Safety Manual – A copy of any manual or set


of instructions is included with each product.

Sharp Edges - The units are to be free of sharp edges that may be
sufficiently sharp to constitute a risk of injury to persons in normal
maintenance and use.

Markings are required to be permanent. Marking may be adhesive backed


labels or Recognized Component Marking and Labeling Systems (PGDQ2) or
may be provided by die-stamping, ink stamping (permanent type ink). The
Marking Label must include the following:

A. The manufacturer’s name, trademark, or other descriptive


marking by which the organization responsible may be identified

B. A distinctive catalog, model number or the equivalent

C. “Listing covers ITC Rack Enclosure only” or “Listing covers


ITC Rack Cabinet only”.

MODEL DIFFERENCES:

General - All models are similar except for mechanical dimensions, i.e
height, depth, width etc. Additionally, see ILL. 1.

R-TN-aUb-c - as follows

a – Denotes height in U (designation per EIA-310). Can be 12, 18, 24, 30,
35, 40, 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 51, 55, 57, 58 or 62

b – Denotes width in inches. Can be 24, 29 or 32

c – Denotes depth in inches. Can be 255 (25.5), 30, 36, 42, 45 or 48

TITAN FRAME SERIES

General – Fig. 1 shows an overall front view of a fully assembled Titan


Frame cabinet Enclosure. Fig. 2 shows an overall side view of the unit.

1. Enclosure – Construction is painted or powdercoat cold-rolled steel 2.0


mm minimum thickness. Refer to MODEL DIFFERENCES for overall
dimensions. See ILL. 1.

2. Main Protective Earthing Terminal – May be threaded holes or stud type.


Located at bottom of enclosure.

3. Earthing Symbol Marking for Main Protective Earthing Terminal – An IEC


60417 marking symbol No. 5019 provided/stamped adjacent to earthing
terminal.

4. Front/Rear Door (optional) - Painted steel. May be solid or perforated.


May be single or double panel. Door is locking type with a single
point keylock and include recessed metal handles. Sized to fit the
enclosure.

5. Door Earthing Connection – Provided for front door and rear doors.
Each connection consists of wire secured to door and frame by screw/
external tooth lock washer combination. Lock washer located between
ring terminal and door or frame. Consists of Items 5a – 5c.

5a. Wire – R/C (AVLV2), 18 AWG min, green/yellow, rated 600 V.

5b. Ring Terminal – Listed (ZMVV).

5c. Insulated Quick-Connect – Listed (RFWV). One each male & female.

6. Side Panels (optional) – Painted steel. May be full-height single


panel or half-height double panels. Secured by spring latches and key
locks. See Fig. 2.

7. Shelves (optional) - Formed of 2.0 mm thick cold-rolled-steel.


Fixed only.

8. Roof Panel (optional) - Painted steel, secured by screws. All 2 mm


thick min. My contain knockouts in various shapes. When knockouts are
removed, grommets (R/C, QMFZ2) are present to cover edges. Grommets
are rated HB min.

9. Stabilizing Feet – Four provided. Screw down leveling stands located


at each corner of the base.

10. Casters (optional, not shown) – Four may be provided.
