Tcs Ninja Syllabus
Though TCS keeps changing its syllabus every year, still there is a vast similarity we can
observe.
In TCS Ninja English section, They will give you a passage with missing words in each line.
you have to choose the correct best fitting word from the drop-down for all 10 missing
words. No negative marking will be there. Passage will be very easy for
everyone. Total time alloted is 10 Minutes.
1 . This Section contains Fill Up the Blanks (FUB) Questions. Questions carry negative
marking for every wrong answers.
2. To answer a question, choose any one of the options provided in the dropdown and click
SAVE & NEXT.
To complete this section and move to the next section, click Submit. Once you click
"Submit",
you cannot come back to this section again. Click the "Submit" button only after you have
completed answering the questions in a given section and when you want to move to the next
section.
5. You will be automatically logged out of this section after 10 minutes. All answers
submitted by
you (including those that are marked for Review) will be considered as the final answers
6. To refer to the test instructions at any point of time during the test, click GROUP
INSTRUCTIONS on the right top of the screen.
2. Quantitative Aptitude-
This section will have 15 questions, out of which 10 will be standard aptitude questions &
rest 5 will be advanced questions. Time alloted will be 30 Minutes in total. These questions
will be of MCQ as well as Fill in the blanks type. TCS Ninja Aptitude Syllbus is as given

3. Programming Logic-
This Section is important part in TCS Ninja Syllabus. This is for testing the basic concept in
logic building. Total questions will be 10 & there will be 7 standard & 3 advanced questions.
You will get total 20 minutes to solve all of them.
Topic Covered:
Data Structures: Array, Stack, Queue, List (tree, hash table, etc)

4. Coding-
TCS Coding section will contain only 1 problem statement. They will give you 30 minutes to
solve it. You can choose any of the programming language to solve. Languages allowed: C,
C++, Python, Java, PHP, Perl.
This section contains only 1 Question. You may choose your preferred language from 5
programming
languages. You will be automatically logged out of this section after 20 minutes. Choose the
language of your preference (only one language is allowed) by clicking on the corresponding
checkbox.
IDE
The evaluation comprises of compilation followed by testing of the entire code from
the text
While using IDE, you may test the code with any input of your choice. The problem
description
details of two public test cases. You may refer to this to understand the structure of
test input.
The exam application has its own set of test cases, some of which are public. A public
test case is one
whose test input, expected output, and actual output are displayed to you. A private
test case
details are not revealed to you.
Exam Application
You can compile as many number of times as you wish within the given timeline.
Click
sans compiling and click Run to view the acceptance/clearance of the Test cases
Click Submit to finally exit this section. Once you click "Submit", you cannot come
section again.
During the evaluation of your response, the message Compilation in progress" will be
screen. If the screen does not refresh on, click the Question number on the Question.
2.Total duration of the test is for 90 minutes. Below table shows the duration allotted for
every group, number of questions and order of appearance.
3.The test will flow as per the order of appearance mentioned. Once you move from one
group to another group, you cannot go back to the earlier group. For example, once you have
moved to Quantitative Aptitude, you cannot go back to Verbal Ability and so on.
4.The countdown timer displayed on the test screen will indicate the time remaining to
complete each group. There are separate timers for each group and the timer will start the
moment the first question appears on the screen.
5.The test duration for each group is fixed. For example: If you complete a given group in
less than the allotted time, the left over time will NOT be carried forward to the remaining
groups.
6.Click SUBMIT at the end of every group to move to the next group. On Clicking SUBMIT
in the Advanced Coding Section (last group), you will be logged out of the test.
7.To refer to the test instructions at any point of time during the test, click INSTRUCTIONS
on the right top of the screen.
8.You are not permitted to talk to fellow participants, use your mobile phones or any banned
items as mentioned in the Hall ticket during the test.
9.Adoption of any unfair means at the examination hall will result in disqualification from the
TCS Selection Process.
10. To learn more about TCS Ninja Exam Pattern, Hope you have gone through TCS Ninja
Syllabus already discussed above.
2.The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen
will display the remaining time available for you to complete the examination. When the
timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself.
3.The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each
question using one of the following symbols:
-You have not visited the question yet.
-You have not answered the question.
-You have answered the question.
-You have NOT answered the question, but have marked the question for review.
-The question(s) "Answered and Marked for Review" will be considered for evaluation.
4.The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at
that question again.
You can click on the ">" arrow which appears to the left of question palette to collapse the
question palette thereby maximizing the question window. To view the question palette
again, you can click on "< " which appears on the right side of question window.
5.You can click on your "Profile" image on top right corner of your screen to change the
language during the exam for entire question paper. On clicking of Profile image you will get
a drop-down to change the question content to the desired language.
6.You can click on Scroll Down to navigate to the bottom and Scroll Upto navigate to the top
of the question area, without scrolling.
Navigating to a Question:
a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to
that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does NOT save your answer to
the current question.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next
question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for
review, and then go to the next question.
Answering a Question :
a.To select your answer, click on the button of one of the options.
b.To deselect your chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on
the Clear Response button.
c.To change your chosen answer, click on the button of another option.
d.To save your answer, you MUST click on the Save & Next button.
e.To mark the question for review, click on the Mark for Review & Next button.
f.To change your answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that
question for answering and then follow the procedure for answering that type of question.
Navigating through sections:
Sections in this question paper are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in
a section can be viewed by clicking on the section name. The section you are
currently viewing is highlighted.
After clicking the Save & Next button on the last question for a section, you will
automatically be taken to the first question of the next section.
You can shuffle between sections and questions anytime during the examination as
per your convenience only during the time stipulated.
Candidate can view the corresponding section summary as part of the legend that
appears in every section above the question palette.
