The learning objectives are similar because right after her teaching, we
made a forum in which we discussed how her teaching was done. Her
learning objectives was also been questioned to us.
MY ANALYSIS

1. If answer in # 3 above is different, what is your conclusion regarding written

lesson objective and actual lesson development? Are lesson objectives in the
lesson plan always followed? Do they really serve as guiding star?

Yes, learning objectives serve as a guide for the teachers on how he/
she will direct learning to the students. It is said to be the objectives because
it is the target goal of the teachers for that day. An effective teacher should
follow the stated learning objectives at his/her lesson plan.

2. Why did you find it easy/difficult to write down the Resource Teacher’s lesson
objective for the day? Did she mention it at the beginning of her/his lesson?

Yes, she mentioned the day before our observation that she will ask us
on what was her learning objectives for that day. And I find it quite easy to
write the objectives because she used appropriate method and materials
needed to be able to utilized her goals and objectives for that lesson.

3. Did you find the lesson objective SMART? Why or Why not?

Yes, her learning objectives were classified as SMART in such a way

that it can be consumed in specific time-allotment. Aside from that, it can
also be measured and attained in a way that students could describe and
explain the three processes of water cycle and how it goes.

4. Was the lesson objective in the cognitive or psychomotor or affective

domain? Or was it in the two or three domains? Support your answer.

The lesson objectives used by Mrs. Dizon was in the three domains of
learning. When the students being able to describe how water cycle goes,
they used their cognitive skills. Then, they utilized their psychomotor skills
while they are stating and explaining the three processes of the cycle.
However, it was classified under affective domain when they had the feeling
of active participation in every group activities provided.

Any lessons learned or insights gained from your observation focused

on lesson objectives? Write them down here. Are lesson objectives truly the guiding
star in the development of a lesson? Or are lesson objectives sometimes forgotten
as the lesson develops?

Lesson objectives are set of goals that the students must cope within
the period of time. Based on my observation, Mrs. Dizon directed the learning to the
students through the use of her objectives. Her goals are in the three-domains of
learning which made the student more knowledgeable and equipped with the topic.
The knowledge, skills and attitudes are all developed in the set aims and objectives.

Learning objectives truly be considered as guiding star in development

of the lesson. It is said to be the expected learning outcomes of the students.
Knowledge and learning can be controlled effectively and efficiently through
complying with the objectives provide for that day. Additionally, the set goals will
make the demonstration of lesson be well-directed and concentrated on the
established aims and targets. Those objectives will tied up on the success or failure
of gaining learning in every presentation of lesson. And it could be assess through
the performance of the students during the evaluation part of the lesson.

Teachers play an important role in molding young minds of every

individual. They serve as model and students sometimes imitate and idolize
them. So teachers should always influence them with positivity and values.
Like how learners won’t give up on their survival in life, the teachers should
not also surrender in directing the learning of the students using their lesson
objectives being established. Sometimes, everything was out of controlled,
yet how teachers deal with those struggling times will be the determinant of
the success of their profession, which is not merely to teach only, but to
mold, lead and inspire young minds which one day could be more successful
than them.
