Quality Healthcare
#1
“
There is a lack of quality and experienced healthcare
professionals in rural India. Due to the limited availability of
such professionals in these areas and that too not qualified and
updated enough with the modern life problems and
corresponding obtainable treatments, there is a lack of quality
maternal care, delay in diagnosis and hospital overcrowding.
Create a solution for this problem keeping in view its
reachability such that the solution is socially economical and
within the reach of every indigent individual residing even in
the remotest part of the rural area.
8
Language Diversity
#2
“
The diversity of the country wherein one hand is a good thing
comes along with a lot of barriers on the other hand. The language
issue is one such barrier which affects the flow of information
obstructing a number of day to day life activities in the fields of
government and social reforms, health care, local economy and
many others. Such problems hinder the rate of social development
which ultimately affects the overall development of the country.
Design flexible possible solutions for such problems keeping in
view it’s accessibility by the citizens of India residing in different
parts of the country, it’s economic feasibility and ease of
understanding by all kinds of citizens of the country.

Rural Exposure
#3
“
Since the rural people do not live in concentrated masses, the
availability of specialized services to them is minimal. This is true
for education, market, banking, transport, communication and
many other necessary services for modern living. This has a major
impact on the development of such people. Where few people are
well equipped with such a lot others are unaware of its availability.
Device a solution to solve such multi-dimensional problems faced
by people in rural areas.
10
Unemployment
#4
“
Unemployment has been an issue of concern since a long time
especially in rural areas despite many efforts being put to solve the
same. Where in one hand concern towards availability and
provision of agricultural jobs is witnessing improvement, jobs in
service sectors majorly lack quantity and quality. There are a
number of opportunities available for local businesses, for
example, by making use of the local specialities of different places
in order to start a new business or set up a factory or by joining
already existing small start-ups and businesses. Device a solution
which not only makes people living in the rural area aware of such
opportunities but also opens the door to such kind of jobs for them.
11
Decentralization of Patient Records
#5
“
A medical record is simply a record of a patient's health and medical history.
Depending on the level or need of care a patient has, records may vary, but
all medical records will contain some common information. A blockchain is a
growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography.
Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block a timestamp,
and transaction data (generally represented as a Merkle tree). By design, a
blockchain is resistant to modification of the data. It is “an open, distributed
ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a
verifiable and permanent way, Obtain a solution to decentralize patient
records or other patient information using blockchain / related technologies
12
Medical prescriptions
#6
“
Prescription of a particular medicine is given by considering
various thing including previous infections. Sometimes doctors (
general physicians ) tend to forget the names of each and every
medicine and dosage according to the disease or allergy. Develop a
solution so that it can suggest the doctor, the medicine and its
dosage when the previous records and the current condition of a
patient are inputted.
13
Smart City
#7
“
Smart City project includes city improvement, city renewal
and city extension using technology and thus striving to
make cities cleaner, efficient and introduce a better
Coordinated system in transport and governance. This
involves using technology to improve the living style of its
current occupants by making the buildings better, greener
etc, it also involves developing better governance systems
which help of the city to live a much comfortable life.
Develop suitable solutions which can be deployed in the
smart cities.

Crimes against Woman
#8
“
More than 3 lac crimes against women are registered each
year in our country. There has been a sharp increase in
reported sexual assaults in the last decade itself. This is a
major setback for our society and the welfare of women,
and it is the need of the hour to curb such a mentality.
Research on the statistics and design a solution to tackle
this issue in the urban areas of the country, such that
crimes can be prevented and help can be dispatched to the
people in need, in time.
15
Efficient Roadways
#9
“
Traffic increases pollution by increasing journey time and
time spent by engines idling. Use crowd data to devise more
efficient roadways, thus reducing pollution and wait time in
traffic.
16
Efficient Service Delivery
#10
“
Differently abled citizens often face difficulties in accessing
essential services (services), which require mandatory
physical visits (Eg. Passport Applications). Can we create
smart solutions to facilitate efficient service delivery to
such citizen groups?
