Araldite® GY 257#
A low-viscosity, crystallization-resistant epoxy resin based on bisphenol-A and
modified with a reactive diluent
Applications Combined with polyamines, polyamidoamines or their adducts as a cross-linking agent,
Araldite GY 257 is suitable for formulating priming coats, solvent-free coatings, flooring
screeds, mastics, etc.
Properties Liquid epoxy resin with many applications.
Good mechanical properties and resistance to chemicals can be varied within wide limits
according to the hardener and additives chosen. Resists crystallization and has very good
processing properties.

Storage Araldite GY 257 should be stored in a dry place, preferably in the sealed original
container, at temperatures between 2 and 40 °C. The product should not be stored
exposed to direct sunlight.
Handling Mandatory and recommended industrial hygiene procedures should be followed
precautions whenever our products are being handled and processed. For additional information
