Work Immersion Guidelines For Portfolio

WORK IMMERSION GUIDELINES FOR PORTFOLIO

1. CLEAR BOOK – (PURLE, LONG)


2. FRONT PAGE – Get a copy from Work Immersion Teacher. Please provide your name and other info.
3. RESUME – (SIZE: Long 8.5 x 13)
 Write a simple but formal resume
 Single page is highly preferable
 Eliminate non-valuable information
 Highlight skills or qualifications relevant to the job by placing them at the top part
 Do not put closing line and applicant's signature at the end of the resume
 Must include the following:
o Header
o Objective
o Education
o Experience
o Skills
o References
(Attached is an example of Resume.)
4. APPLICATION LETTER - (SIZE: Long 8.5 x 13)
(You will get the address on Thursday, September 5, 2019) as well as the format.)
5. PARENTAL CONSENT (Get it from the Work Immersion Teacher and make sure that it is signed by your
parents/ guardian. No parental consent, no immersion).
6. PHOTOCOPY OF GUARDIAN/PARENT’S ID
(SIZE: Long 8.5 x 13)*NOTE: Make sure that there is a signature on the ID.
7. DAILY NARRATIVE REPORT - l (Minimum of 8 pages) A daily narration of the experiences of the student as
a trainee
(ATTACHED. 10 COPIES)
8. DAILY REPORT CARD – Please produce at least one copy. It is available in the store. 
9. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE – Make sure that you contact the school doctor for check-up prior to your
deployment. A medical certificate will be issued by them.
10. COMPANY PROFILE - The student writes down the place and duration of the work immersion, the History,
Mission, Vision and a picture of their industry.
11. GALLERY – Photo documentation supporting your journal. Not all journal entry is required to have a
picture. Minimum of five pictures and maximum of ten. Please put caption in every picture.
12. WORK IMMERSION HIGLIGHT - Observation and Insights (1 page)
a. Narrate the observations in the training area and in the training program itself.
B. Discuss your own perception regarding what you have observed regarding the conduct of work
immersion.

13. REFLECTION – (1 PAGE)

It is an account highlighting the overall reflection and self-appraisal of the learnings of the student from
the training. Discussion should include:
a. Reflection on the experience
b. Review of the experience
c. Evaluation of the training program
d. Appraisal of yourself regarding positive changes that you think you have undergone after the training.
