Executive Development Program (EDP)
(Admission to Postgraduate Diploma in Textiles)
Executive Development Centre (EDC), BUTEX is offering a Postgraduate Diploma in Textiles sponsored by The Ministry of Finance,
Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). This program
is designed to produce world class managers and future leaders for the textile industry of Bangladesh. The curriculum of EDP is designed
based on the identified deficient areas of local executives and managers that include Communication and soft skills, HRM, Operations
Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Textile Studies, Product Development, Compliance and CSR,
Environmental Management, Industrial Engineering and Merchandising.

Selection process PROGRAM FEATURES


• Candidates will be selected based on the  International standard Teaching-Learning facilities
result of written test and viva-voce.  9-Month long Managerial program (6 months coursework & 3 months internship)
• Only short listed candidates will be  No course fee is required
called for written test and viva-voce  Lunch, refreshment, conveyance and internship allowance will be provided
 Class Time: Friday and Saturday: 03 PM to 06 PM & 06 PM to 09 PM;

 Category A (Experienced): Executives/Managers working in the textile industry
Written Test with bachelor degree in any discipline.
Friday, 19 July 2019  Category B (Fresher): Graduate in Science/ Textiles or other branches of
Engineering with excellent academic record.
Written Test Result Publication  Executives/ Managers working in BTMA membered industries with bachelor
Tuesday, 23 July 2019 degree will get preference if they apply through BTMA recommendation.
Viva Starts
 Female candidates will get preference in admission.
Sunday, 28 July 2019
Those who have completed training of 2 weeks or more under SEIP should not apply

Friday, 6 September 2019 online an auto-generated filled-in application form will be sent to given email
