Scope and Delimitation of the Study

This study emphases on promoting the tourism and rehabilitating

Marawi City. It will be focusing and centralized the Architectural
planning and designing of that specific project with the help of
researching a case studies and reviewing of related literature as a
guide reference to our study and to expand our knowledge about the
specific project that it talk about.
 One of the multilateral lender, the Asian Development Bank
(ADB) has a Sovereign (Public) Project entitled Restoring Livelihoods
and Learning in Marawi. ADB already mulls $400-M and expected to
be signed by December 2018. There are two major sectors to be
develop in Marawi, the Education and Industry and Trade. The
expected outputs of these project was Emergency employment
provided, Sustainable livelihoods restored and Conflict-sensitive
education initiatives supported.

Aside from the ADB, National Economic and Development

Authority also fund P10 Billion for the 2018 national budget for the
Bangon Marawi Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Recovery Program
(BMCRRP).

User Demand Analysis

Based on the latest available ARMM tourism data, Lanao del Sur
was the top tourist destination in 2016 with close to 70,000 visitor
arrivals. This number produced roughly P1.2 billion in tourism receipts.

The 2017 data for Lanao del Sur decreases because of the
Marawi Siege. The Department of Tourism - ARMM where expecting
more tourist arrivals after the siege. In current year (2018), there are
still a lot of annual festive in the region. These festive helps to retain
and regain some tourist attractions in ARMM.

As of January to August 2018, there are more than 4,850,00

foreign tourist came in the Philippines. Situated in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao
(ARMM), the Province of Lanao del Sur is bounded by Lanao del Norte
on the north, Bukidnon to the east, and Maguindanao and Cotabato to
the south. It is home of some historic structures and museums such
as: Aga Khan Museum, Torogan (of Tuka), Dansalan Market (natively
known as Padian), Tuwaka Laput (all kinds of native product) and First
Dansalan Town Hall.

SWOT Analysis
Marawi City is the provincial capital of Lanao Del Sur and it
encompasses 96 barangays. There are a lot of places of interests in Strength
Marawi City that would help to boost its tourism, such as: Lake Lanao;  A lavish nature all over the site.
