Society Wants Us To Become

A moneyless society would work in the following way: 1) Individuals would work not for money but to fulfill needs and help others. There would be massive labor available to produce goods and services without monetary limitations. 2) Advantages include increased output and simplified manufacturing. Disadvantages include ensuring adequate labor and security issues without monetary incentives. Some may have more advantages depending on their willingness to work. 3) A fully moneyless society is not possible because there would be no incentive to work without consequences for not working. Scarcity and need for common exchange mean that money remains a necessary part of modern societies.

Not a cashless society – which refers to the move to digital money

transactions and the elimination of bills and coins – but an actual society that does not use money.

own thoughts and opinions, and answer the questions below, in essay format. Where possible and
appropriate, relate your responses to the concepts you are learning in Economics class.

companies? Would there be governments? Etc. (10 marks)

money can eliminate poverty, crime, corruption, and wars. It can also protect
environment, human values, and bring true democracy to all countries. Having a
moneyless society, it can work free environment to everybody but there is some
negative effect to be consider. The society output and services would no longer be
limited by the availability of money. We would have a massive labour force available
to produce goods and services far beyond what we produce today. The individuals
would live in a free, safe and healthy environment, and lead productive, learn, grow,
and feel valued in collaborative relationship. In using the moneyless society individual
will live it simple because of the use of technology.
 We will not work for earning money because money will not be needed to fulfil our
needs. We will rather work to fulfil our true needs. We will work to make ourselves
more human. We will work to make others more human. We will accept each other as
we are, helping each of us in becoming what we want to become, and not what the
society wants us to become.

to produce goods and services. In a manufacturing it could be simpler because of the

duplication and trade secrets. It lessens our time in handling paper money.
 One of the disadvantages of a moneyless society is workers would consist of all those
currently unemployed or underemployed in addition to those made available from
eliminating all the occupations related to money. It will allow the bank to charge as extra
fees in every transaction. In a money less society you are not sure that your bank account

potential It is more advantages to individual because it’s a less time

3. Would such a society be possible, in whole or in part? Why or why not? (5 marks)
No, There will be scarcity. If everything is provided for free, there is no reason to work
other than for fun. Some people would work for free but ask yourself if you'd go into work if
there are no consequences to staying home. Because in our present society money is a common
means of exchange that allow just about anything to be exchanged for just about anything in
common. On our society the money is a good economic value that help the society to grow and
