The teacher let the students to read the poem entitled " MOMMY".
Call one students to read some colored words in the poem.
e. Discussion/Lesson Proper
The teacher will ask the students.
1. What is adverb?
2. Who can give some examples of adverbs?
The teacher will group the students into 4 and in each group will give some
Group 1- 2 will discuss how the adverbs use in the poem and will give 5
examples of sentences containing adverbs of frequency.
Group 3-4 will discuss how the advebs use in the poem and will give 5
examples of sentences containing adverbs of manner.
f. Application
The teacher will post five sentences containing an advebs and let the
students to identify if it is an adverb of frequency or an adverb or an adverb
of manner.
1. She always atays on my side.
2. Never leaves me.
3. I usually feels better.
4. As she smiles widely at me.
5. I embraced lovingly my beloved mommy.

Directions: Underline the adverb used in each sentence and write AF if the
Adverb ofFrequency and write AM if Adverb of Manner. Write it in a 1/2
crosswise.
