BrainPOP https://www.brainpop.com Brian POP can be used for most subjects. You can search topics and will
provide you with a video, a quiz, games, a worksheet and many other
helpful tools to use for the lesson. For example, I would use a video on
BrainPOP to introduce a lesson.
Cool Math https://www.coolmathgames.com Cool Math is not only for math but is a good math tool. If I were teaching
Games a lesson on letters and words. I would have my students play “Word
Detector at the end of a lesson. It is a good way for students to stay
active in their learning, but they get to play a game.
PBS KIDS https://pbskids.org On this website there are teamwork games. I would have my students in
groups and choose a teamwork game of their choice. This would help
work on their group work skills.
National https://kids.nationalgeographic.com If I was teaching a science lesson, I would use this website for my
Geographic students to further their knowledge. They would go to the “animals” tab
Kids and explore the animals on the website.
FUN BRAIN https://www.funbrain.com This website has games. I would use the math games at the end of a
lesson and have the students record their scores to evaluate the
students’ knowledge.
Highlights kids https://www.highlightskids.com/ga I would use this website for its podcasts. The students would all listen to
mes a pod cast and record the main ideas. After the students would share
their ideas in a group.
Learning https://www.learninggamesforkids.c I would use this website with a social studies lesson on the 50 states. The
Games for Kids om students would play a game trying to match the states with their names.
Educational https://www.education.com/games/ I would use this website to teach how to tell time on a clock. There is a
Games for Kids very interactive and simple way for students to learn.
Weebly https://weebly.com Students would use this website to create their own personal website.
Creately https://creately.com Students would use this website to be creative in making a chart. The
students would plan out a chart and then use the website for it to come
all together.
