EMERGENCY MOCK DRILL EXERCISE

Location: – Sub Station- SRP Area

Date: 23.07.2019
Scenario:
A Carpenter workers fell down from 2 meters height while he was access to ladder for shutting work and
suffered right arm and right lower leg fractures shall be made mock victim. Supervisor shall extend an
emergency call to HSE for urgent medical evacuation for all to notifying the exact location. At the same time
PMC HSE informed to Cairn Radio officer regarding emergency .Site Supervisor shall then to notify Site
Paramedic/First Aider with Emergency vehicle shall reach to the location. Site male nurse / First aider will
provide first aid treatment to IP .After thorough examination victim shall be moved to Ambulance, then
shifted of the patient to the OB Cairn Hospital , will mark the end of the exercise . An exercise de- briefed
will then takes place .Comments and suggestions will be noted from the participants and observers.
Lessons learnt shall be captured, recorded and incorporated into future practice drills.

Objective:
• To evaluate the adequacy & effectiveness of IRT - SRP Project.
• To evaluate the emergency response & mustering efficiency of contractor work crew.
• To assess the communication gaps between Construction IRT and the Forward Response Team.
• To assess the adequacy of actions of the following key role players:
o Forward Controller
o Contractor’s Incident Response Team
o SRP Project IRT team members
