How to Update Navigation

Software
How to know Navigation System model and Map version
Go to “Navigation button” > “Menu” > “Setting” > “About”: window display the device model, and the
current map version as shown on picture below.

Web updates
Step 1 : Visit our Software and Map update website at (http://www.inav.ph/portal/)

Step 2 : Select Map updates to find that fit in your navigation system

Step 3: Select and it will Automatically download (Estimate download time : 20mins)

OEM – Original equipment manufacturer (Factory installed)


After Market – Purchase on our AVT Authorized dealers

Step 4 : Get SD or MicroSD card from Head Unit and insert to PC or Laptop use card reader if necessary.

Reminder before updating:

A. This updater recognize the original SD card only.


B. As much as possible make a backup, and do not delete any original content.
C. Do not format SD card.
D. Do not copy or put unnecessary file like music, picture, videos etc. to SD card.
Step 5 : Run downloaded file

Reminder : A. Updater required to have WinRAR application to installed to PC or laptop. You can download the
application here https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm it’s free!

Step 6 : Follow the instruction given by the updater: (or press any key to continue updating)

Reminder :

A. Make Sure SD Card is inserted to your PC properly:


B. PC or laptop requires WinRAR explorer to extract the file.
C. If Update are successful a message display
D. When update are unsuccessful a message display .
Step 7 : If this is the result :

Possible Cause:

1. Updater detect not original SD card.


2. Updater detect incomplete file, or other file are deleted, corrupted.
3. SD card newly formatted and the license of the card have been deleted
4. SD card is not properly connected to PC

Step 1 : Extract the File from Rar.exe and wait until 100% extracted.

Reminder:
A. You need WINRAR in your PC to extract the files.
B. If your PC doesn’t have it, download and install WINRAR in http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar393.exe

Step 2 : Copy the GenieTek Folder and Navigation Folder and overwrite all after the Copy is done you can try the Navigation
now in your vehicle
Insufficient space!
(SD Cleaner) – For 2GB SD Card

1. Copy the SD Cleaner file to SD Card Root folder


2. After copying the file in your SD card, double-click the Sdcleaner.exe file and please wait until this window appears.

3. After pressing “Enter”, please delete the Sdcleaner.exe file in your memory card and proceed to re-update your SD card.
