A worried voice at the other end “dear its 7:30, class got over
at 6:00 ,all well /…….yes mom don’t worry stuck in a jam will be
home shortly .Just imagine the sigh of relief , a mother heaves-
thanks to cell phone revolution – safety and concern of our
near and dear ones – just a call away
CONNECTIVITY, CONVENIENCE, CARE, AND CONCERN
All these are possible – courtesy the cell phone.
A very good morning to one and all. I chayan sinha of D.P.S
Mathura road stand for the motion “ MOBILE A CONVENIENCE OR A
PROBLEM “
The other day, my dad was telling me his childhood stories. Once
he had to travel 14 hours to a relative's house just to ask him
something. Another day, he traveled several hours to visit a
family relative who was sick, but just to find out that the sick
person has been transferred to a hospital in a completely
different town which is another 8 hours travel. Isn't it
ridiculous? How much time and energy was wasted travelling
around just to ask something or tell something to another
person. Cell phones is a real blessing which allow us to save a
lot of time and help us spend those time for other productive
purpose or just relax with family.
AKSHAT:
Could you realize how our parents or grandparents studied? They
studied and got knowledge only from the parents, teachers, and
books. Imagine how things changed now. Of course, we get
knowledge from parents, teachers, and books, but with the help
of the internet, we can learn much more. Students who get good
grades in exams get extra knowledge from the internet. In the
early days, the library helped the students to gain extra
knowledge and now the whole library is in the student’s pocket
as a mobile phone. You can clear any doubt you have and get a
great explanation with the help of mobile phones. Through your
Smartphone you can open Google, YouTube, and Wikipedia which
are three informative giants, helping students in many ways
Someone here said mobile phones damage our social life and
family life. I completely disagree. How many times you can visit
a relative who live in another town? May be 2 or 3 times a year.
That is what our previous generation used to do. Between these
visits, they would never know what is going on there. Imagine
how lucky are we! All of our friends and relatives are just a
phone call away. My mummy makes sure we speak to our close
family relatives every week and other relatives and friends
once in few weeks.
