Company’s History and Back-ground
INDU SHANKAR CHINI UDHYOG PVT. LTD. is located in Harion, Sarlahi, Nepal. Company is working in
Food manufacturing, Sugarcraft supplies, Farming, Sugar estates business activities. Harion is the home
of the Indu-Shankar Chini Udhog Ltd. and is one of the main business centers of the District.

Country's leading sugar producing industry, Indushankar Chini Udyog was established in 2041 B.S.(1984
A.D). The plant produces high quality sugar and its bi-product with a production capacity of 36,650 MT.

Initially company was established with 750 TCD (ton crushing per day) by steam engine set up. As per
increment in demand of sugar in the market, company had improved the capacity up to 1250 TCD by
replacing with turbine engine. Again in next season, the capacity of crushing increased up to 1500 TCD.

In order to increase the more capacity of the firm, industry had installed an another crushing mill and
gross TCD reached to 3500. Gradually company modify its instrument and machinery. Recent the
crushing capacity of the firm is 5000 TCD.
