I am writing to express my interest for the position of Medical Assistant in your esteemed Hospital.
Having recently obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Major in General Biology in Mindanao State
University-Iligan Institute of Technology, I wish to bring my knowledge, skills and commitment to
excellence to your company’s innovative environment.

As a General Biology graduate, an aspiring medical student, I’ve become equipped with the necessary
knowledge that come with the position however it is my goal to learn more as a medical assistant
specially the duties that comes with it like helping nurses and physicians work more efficiently by taking
care of administrative duties, scheduling appointments, arranging for laboratory tests, handling billing,
and even acting as scribes during appointments.

My on the job training at the City Health Ofice of Iligan City He also afforded me with the crucial skills
in laboratory tests and administering patients with different illnesses. Being a trainee has developed in me
enthusiasm and a true passion for helping the people and has subsequently convinced me that a field in
medicine is my true calling.

I am hoping that a place in your respective domain will help me for my medical school application and
serve as a proof that I have got some experience in the field, for me to know what it takes to work in
medicine, and that I’m someone who is going to make it to the other side ready to practice—not burned
out and cynical because I didn’t know what I was getting into.
