Anthropometric Data

This document contains tables and figures related to anthropometric data and body segment measurements for the standard human. Table 1 provides normalized mass and length measurements for various body segments. Tables 2 and 3 give standing dimensions and body segment mass measurements for males and females. Figures 1 and 2 illustrate body segment lengths as percentages of total height for U.S. females and males, respectively. The data is adapted from various biomechanics textbooks and studies on modeling the human body.
