DESIGNATION OF SCHOOL DRRM COORDINATORS, DISTRICT DRRM COORDINATORS,


PERMANENT 1st ALTERNATE AND 2nd ALTERNATE DRRM COORDINATORS

This Division

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 21 s. 2015, re: Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Coordination and Information Management Protocol, this Office reiterates that all school heads
shall serve as the School DRRM Coordinators, and designate permanent alternate school
DRRM Coordinator and 2nd alternate.

2. To ensure continuity of implementation in managing disaster reduction procedures,


protocol and strengthening the culture of safety in the schools, a designation order shall be
given to that School Head (School DRRM Coordinator), permanent alternate school DRRM
Coordinators and their 2nd alternate who will do their duties & responsibilities for minimum of
three (3) years.

3. The 1st Alternate and 2nd Alternate School DRRM Coordinators shall be responsible for
assisting and providing support to the school head on DRRM implementation. Refer to DO 21,
series 2015, section IV DRRM Roles and Responsibilities for reference.

4. In relation thereto, ALL School Heads (School DRRM Coordinator)/ Permanent or 1st
Alternate and 2nd Alternate School DRRM Coordinators– Elementary & Secondary are
hereby directed to fill out the attached form and to be submitted to the District/Area In-Charge
DRRM Coordinators. Deadline of the submission of consolidated report forms to the Division
Office is on October 28, 2019 (Monday), 5:00pm.

6. Immediate dissemination and compliance with this Memorandum is desired.
