INTRAMURALS 2019
Theatrical Presentation Contest Mechanics

1. Every grade level is required to send one entry, with 25 – 30 performers (props men/women
are not considered performer). The members of the groups maybe composed of all males or
females, or combination.
2. The presentation has a time limit of 8 – 10 minutes including the entrance and exit of
performers and props. Beyond this time limit, 1 point is to be deducted from the final score
for every 30-second time extension.
3. The presentation may include but not limited to a combination of dancing, singing, and
acting.
4. The order of performance will be determined during the general rehearsal. The musical
accompaniment (in MP3/MP4/MP4A format) must be submitted to the organizer prior to the
general rehearsal.
5. The criteria for judging are the following:

a. Choreography (Creativity, Artistry, Style & Originality) ------------------- 40 %


b. Execution (Timing & Coordination, Projection & Expression) ---------- 35 %
c. Costume and Props (Relevance to the Concept) -------------------------- 10 %
d. Cheer and Props of Non-performing students ------------------------------ 5%
e. Overall Impact of the Performance -------------------------------------------- 10 %

Total - 100%

6. The cheer and props of the non-performing students will be judged during the parade and
cheer part of the program.
7. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
