Plaridel Volleyball League 2019- Open League

Ground Rules
1. Players should be a bonafide resident of Quezon Province.

2. Each team shall be composed of at least 9 members and maximum of 12 members.

3. A duly accomplished entry form, with names of each player shall be submitted to the committee before
October 17, 2019.

4. Only those players whose names appears on the entry list are eligible to play.

5. The tournament will be held on October 19, 2019 at Plaridel Municipal Covered Court. Games will start
at 8:00 am.

6. Teams will be divided in two brackets. Game Format will be a Single Round Robin elimination on each
bracket.

7. During the elimination round, the matches will be played on a best of three set match. Third set will be
up to 15 points.

8. Top 2 teams of each bracket will advance to the knock-out semi-finals.


Rank 1 Bracket A vs. Rank 2 Bracket B,
Rank 2 Bracket A vs. Rank 1 Bracket B

9. During the semi-final round, the matches will still be played on a best of three set match. However, third
set will be up to 25 points.

10. Battle for third place will also be played on a best of three set match, third set will be up to 25 points.

11. Championship game will be played on a best of 5 set match.

12. Referees’ decision is Final.

13. 15 minutes defaulting time will be set.

14. Teams will receive (2) two timeouts per set. Timeouts will be 0:30 seconds in length and can be used at
the team discretion.

15. Substitution of players will be allowed on a maximum of six (6) substitution per set.

16. A team may utilize one Libero player who must be easily distinguished among the players of the team.

17. There will be an entry fee of P500.00 per team.

18. Cash Prize are as follows:

Champion P 4,000.00
Second Place 2,000.00
Third Place 1,000.00
Fourth Place 500.00
