CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

5.1 The Auto recloser shall be of triple pole construction with all the three phases driven by a
single operating mechanism. The insulating medium shall be SF6. Arc quenching medium shall
be SF6/Vacuum.

5.2 The cabinets for Auto recloser complete with operating mechanism and control box shall be
of weather proof construction having minimum degree of protection of IP55 as defined in
the IEC 60529.

5.3 AIl the external parts such as nuts, bolts shall be hot dip galvanized.

5.4 Auto recloser shall be supplied with all necessary auxiliary switches and mechanisms for
indication, protection, control and other services.

5.5 All metal parts other than those coming under electrical circuit shall be earthed
to the earthing system.

5.6 Auto recloser shall be provided with Built in Power Supply Unit for control, Metering and
protection purpose without any auxiliary power supply
