Why would you like to go to Germany

Answer: I want to go to Germany for completing my bachelors by getting an International degree


and exposure in real work environment. Once I finished my 12th standard, I started analyzing the
universities in India and found that the Indian universities have rigorous admission procedure and
have reservation system. They don’t allow practical learning and creativity. There is no room for
extra-curricular activities. Then I came across the universities in Germany and found that they are
world class in terms of education and international exposure. The low and affordable cost of living
was also one of the highlights (good factors) for me to decide to go to Germany.

2. Which course have you applied for?


Answer: I have applied for B.A Business and Management Studies at the Berlin Campus.

3. Why did you choose this course?


Answer: I chose this course because it is in alignment with my major subjects in 12th standard. I
got inspired by my father who is a businessman. When I assisted my father in his family business
of M/S Singh Tiles Marbles and Sanitary Ware, I developed a passion for entrepreneurial
thinking. When I researched about this course, I learnt that this course will teach how managers
in private sector or in their own business can learn about business administration and
entrepreneurship journey by gaining practical experience as per International standards. This
inspired me to take up this course as it aligns with my career goals.

Answer: This course has wide scope in different sectors such as industrial or SME sector,
commerce or financial sector. One can take up leadership roles in all sectors, be responsible for
budget and staff and make sure the company remains competitive.

I can take up various roles such as:

 Consultant in corporate consulting (national and international)


 Assistant to corporate management
 Marketing and sales manager
 Start-up entrepreneur

Yes there are some colleges in India which offer courses related to Business Management. The
names of the courses are different but they are related to Business Administration. The colleges are:
IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, MIT World Peace University in Pune, FMS Delhi, Oxford College of
Engineering Bangalore etc.

Answer: The Indian universities have rigorous admission procedure. There is lot of competition
to get admission in the top colleges. Moreover, the reservation system leaves less number of
seats for the other category students. I always wanted to have International exposure for my
higher studies for a brighter future and good learning growth.

I chose this university because:

 The University of Applied Sciences Europe is part of Global University Systems. The
university promotes the future-oriented development of skills and interdisciplinary
teaching formats
 It offers Unique International Network for skill development.
 It also offers modern equipment for better learning

Answer: Berlin offers various advantages. Firstly, the student life is affordable. Secondly, it is not all
work and the student life is exciting as the city is full of culture, museums and various events. Thirdly,
Berlin is very friendly to the International students and language isn’t a barrier.

14. Why Germany over other countries?

Answer: It offers

 A path to debt free education.


 A full public health insurance coverage for around Euro 26 to 80 per month. In Canada public
health insurance is available only in half of the provinces while in the other half students must
purchase the private health insurance.
 Public transport is affordable as compared to US and other countries.

 World in class infrastructure for the student’s growth a per Industry standards.
 Good practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge. Indian universities offer rote
learning with little practical exposure.
48. My major subjects in 12th standard were Accounts, Economics etc. My favorite subject was
Accounts. I always had interest in business. When I assisted my father in his family business I
really enjoyed it. This course will teach me about business administration and entrepreneurship
journey by gaining practical experience as per International standards. This inspired me to take
up this course as it aligns with my career goals. In future I would like to work for private firms
and later assist my father in his business by expanding it.
