Eos Family Fixture Library

There is now a fixture library patch available for the Eos Family 2.7.3 release that updates the library
with the requests specifically mentioned below. This new fixture library has NOT had any significant
testing yet. We recommend someone spend some time playing with the new fixture definitions before
attempting a demo or show.

NOTE: This fixture library should only be installed with Eos Family 2.7.3– do not attempt to install this
update on a system running different (including later) versions of software.

Instructions
NOTE: The fixture library update method has changed significantly beginning with v2.3.2 – please read
the instructions below carefully.

Locate the file called "EOS_FixtureLib_2.7.3.12.zip" within the download “Fixture Library Update v2.7.3
Build 12 for Eos Family” from the ETC website - this can be found on the Eos Ti, Eos, Ion, Element, or Gio
product pages under the "Downloads and Software" tab. Put the "EOS_FixtureLib_2.7.3.12.zip" file
directly on a flash drive and follow the instructions below:

1. Insert the USB device containing the library into an available USB port on the console.
2. Open the Eos Configuration Utility (ECU - Also known as the Eos Shell) either by exiting the Eos
Family software (Browser>Exit) or by starting up the console and clicking on the {Launching in...}
button. The ECU screen will open.
3. Click on the {Settings} button. The settings window will open.
4. Click on the {General} button inside of the settings window. The general settings will appear in
the window.
5. Scroll down in the window until the {Software Update...} button is visible. Click this button.
• This scans the root directory of all available drives (USB drives) for valid installers.
6. When the “Update Software” dialog pops up, click on “EOS_FixtureLib_v2.7.3.12.zip”, then click
{Install}.
7. When prompted, click [Yes] to confirm that you want to install the Eos support files.
8. A dialog box will open showing the current progress. The console will install the library.
9. Click {Close} to complete the installation process.

All requested library changes since the EOS 2.7.3 release are included in this library patch as of
September 27, 2018.

download.
