DJI Phantom 4 Checklist

BEFORE LEAVING BEFORE TAKEOFF


l SD card installed in Phantom 4 l Verify in GPS mode
l USB cable l Start motors and idle
l Transmitter fully charged l Verify no warning messages
l Batteries fully charged l Verify home point and altitude set
l Tablet fully charged
l Transmitter harness AFTER TAKEOFF
l Extra props l Hover, verify systems OK
l Tablet hood l Check flight contols
l Camera filters

PRE-FLIGHT POST FLIGHT


l Remove gimbal lock l Turn off Phantom battery
l Install battery, check secured l Turn off transmitter
l Check hull/landing gear for defects l Install gimbal lock
l Check props for cracks and defects l Remove props & inspect for damage
l Install props and verify secured l All batteries are off before packing
l Install tablet on transmitter l Check area for forgotten items
l Open DJI Go app
l Turn on Transmitter
l Turn on Phantom 4
l Check warm up notifications
l Battery voltage and percentage
l Format SD card
l Camera settings as needed
l Camera lens filters installed
a Over Water Flight
a Check wind speed and direction
a Disable VPS (if applicable)
a Verify 10 GPS satellites minimum
