JPIA DAY AND NIGHT 2019

SPORTS EVENTS
JUNIOR PHILIPPINE INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

Year 2019-2020

GENERAL RULE:
All of participants shall refrain from behaviour that may unfairly affect an opponent, offend
the spectators and facilitators such as abusive language and deliberately breaking the material
on the playing material on the playing area.
Concerns, clarifications, complaints or questions must be directly addressed to the Vice
President for Sports.

1. AMAZING RACE
Number of participants: 10 (5 boys, 5 girls)
Description:

Each house must finish challenge in each station until they reach the last one. Every
station has a clue that will lead them to the next station. Challenges in each station involve
physical and mental capability. Rules in each station must be properly observed. An
accounting question will be asked for every station. Each team will be given2 chances to
answer the question.

A 30% addition to the total time spent on that station if the team haven’t answered the
question correctly after 2 tries. The team who spent the shortest time to finish the
challenges in every station is the winner.

2. BLINDFOLDED APPLE EATING


Number of participants: 2
Game mechanics:
The game is played by 2 persons the apple eater and the apple holder. The apple eater
will be blindfolded and will eat the apple while the apple holder will hold the apple using
any part of the face. The apple holder is not allowed to help the apple eater in eating the
apple, otherwise they will be eliminated. The first couple who has the most reduced apple
size within the limited time or the first to eat the apple is the winner.
3. SACK RACE
Number of participants: 8
Game mechanics:
Line your team at your designated place. First player puts both legs into sack (the sack
must remain close to the waist and should not fall below the knee) and hops around the
chair, will hop back to his teammates tagging the next player. The next player gets into the
sack and repeats the steps made by player one. The first team whose last player hopped
around the chair and return to his respective line wins the game.
4. TUG OF WAR
Number of participants: 10 players (5 boys, 5 girls)
Game mechanics:
A draw lot system shall determine the order or schedule of the games. Only the
strongest JPIA group will prevail in this competition. The team who pull their opponent across
the line will be the winner

5. EGG RELAY
Number of players: 8
Game mechanics:
Line up your team at your designated place. First member of the team puts he spoon in
his mouth. Place the egg on the spoon. The player carries the spoon with egg to a
designated spot and back to the starting line, where he/she will pass the egg on the next
player’s spoon without touching it. The next player will the same steps made by player one
and then pass it to the third player and so on until the 8th player. Dropping the egg means
elimination. First team to finish the relay wins.
6. SIT AND POP
Number of players: 8
Game mechanics:
Line up your team at your designated place. Participants will compete to see who can
pop and sit a balloon first. Begin with the first member having inflated balloon with him, will run
and sit to a chair. The second member follows, stand in front of the first member as if he is
ready to sit. Second member tries to pop the balloon to the best that he can and replace the
first member from the chair. Then the 3rd member and so o will do the same. Players are not
allowed to use their hands, even to pull the chair, otherwise they will be eliminated. The first
team to pop all the balloons wins the game.
