Topic: Coulomb'S Law: Physics Baba Unit: Electrostatics

1. Coulomb's law states that the force between two charges is directly proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. 2. When a dielectric medium is introduced between two charges, the force is reduced by a factor equal to the dielectric constant of the medium. 3. Adding charge to both original charges will increase or decrease the force depending on whether the added charges have the same or opposite sign as the original charges. The direction and magnitude of the net force can be determined using Coulomb's law.
