Probability and Statistics

This document provides information on the Probability and Statistics course for chemical engineering students. The course is worth 3 credits and covers topics like random variables, normal distribution, sampling distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and correlation. It includes 5 units covering discrete and continuous random variables, normal distribution, sampling distributions, estimation and hypothesis testing for means, proportions, variances, and regression analysis. The course outcomes are to determine distributions of random variables, calculate probabilities using normal distribution, describe confidence intervals and test hypotheses for single and multiple means/proportions/variances.
