My Contribution and Team Dynamics


1. Summary of what I did to contribute to achieving my team’s goals
I facilitated an initial meeting to get to know the members of the team and also to discuss,
identify and agree on a work plan as well as our individual performance criteria. I played a very
key role in drafting and completing our team charter. I made it a point of duty to always
schedule and attend the team’s meetings in order to discuss our individual progress in specific
tasks, identify and jointly resolve issues that arose, and continually provide constructive
feedback on performance. Lastly, I endeavoured to always come up with useful ideas on how
to complete the assignments.

2. Were the behaviours of any of your team members particularly valuable or


detrimental to the team? Explain
All the team members generally behaved in a manner which was quite valuable and
instrumental to the team. But in the beginning, there was reluctance and lateness on the part
of some members in attending the teams meetings. This was quite detrimental as it dampened
the team’s spirit, nevertheless we resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Thus all the team
members played a vital role in the successful completion of our assignments.
