How to get new edition of eNP form ChartCo FTP site

(If latest edition of eNP is not in the base eNP DVD available onboard)

Create folder on your desktop called ‘Publications’, place the PDF in that folder. The folder must be named exactly
‘Publications’; with ‘s’ at the end and placed on the desktop (Example. C:\Users\Maersk\Desktop).

Open Windows Explorer or any folder on your desktop.


Once open enter ftp://[email protected]/ in the address field (see below diagram).
(Do not use internet explorer/browser; only Windows Explorer shall work for this process)

It will then ask you for the login. Use below,-


User Name: oceans
Password: Oceans13

Now open the folder ‘e-NP New Editions’ and copy the required eNP PDF file to ‘Publications’ folder you created earlier on
Desktop.

The PDF file is password protected and you shall not be able to open it directly. You need to upload it in eNP Reader.
Follow instructions in the next page.

Once you have applied the
.enp file sent in the email
from ChartCo, go to tools,
then click on the tile titled
“Load e‐NPs“. Select Media
Click on the “Next” button
to select which e‐NPs you
would like to download.

The e‐NPs which you have


purchased and require data
for will be highlighted in a
light blue boundary box.
When you have selected
the e‐NPs to download,
click on the “Next” button
to continue the download
process.

Click on the “Browse”


button and select the
location (ensuring you do
select the drive i.e desktop
or USB, and not the PDF file
or publications folder) and
press next and then press
‘Load e-NPs ’ on the next
screen.

Once the Download is complete a message of “Successfully loaded e‐NPs” will display along with a confirmation of the
e‐NP titles downloaded. The e‐NPs' downloaded will now be available in the Book Shelf and the View Book components.
