Dear Sir Descalzo:

I am writing to request a time extension to complete my research about “Perceived


Importance of National Service Training Program to the Students of the University of the East—
Manila and Caloocan Campus”. The survey questionnaire is a significant part of the research and
due to the current semestral break of both campuses, there are not enough students within the
vicinity who are qualified to answer and complete the survey questionnaire.

The given deadline is November 7, 2019. Kindly consider a week extension for the
survey to be completed. I anticipate that this research would be done prior to the extension to
have ample time in conducting the survey questionnaire properly when regular classes resume
and to have enough time in gathering the data.
Thank you for your kind consideration for this request. I would be grateful if the request
would be approved. Please kindly let me know your response at your earliest convenience.
