phone conversation for specific details
(ii) Explain simple content about how to use computers

(i) Discuss on how to use computer by answering two
questions
(ii) Listen to a phone conversation and answer 2
comprehension questions
(iii) Listen to a phone conversation and answer at least 6
out of 8 True/False statements correctly

ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON Pair-work (5 minutes)
- Pupils study the picture on page 11 and guess what the
characters are talking about.
- Then, pupils take turn to share their thoughts with the
class.
- Pupils ask their partner the two questions in Exercise A of
page 11.
- Then, pupils take turn to share their thoughts with the
class.
DEVELOPMENT - (Listening Strategy: Top-down)
- Pupils silently read the 2 questions in Exercise B of page
11.
- Teacher elicits definitions of key words from the question.
- Pupils listen to the audio, on the conversation between a
father and the son, and answer the two questions.
- Teacher calls pupils using lollipop sticks to write answers
on the board.

- Pupils read silently the questions in Exercise C of page 11.


- Teacher elicits definitions of key words from the
True/False statements.
- Teacher plays recording. Pupils listen to the audio and
answer the questions.
