Jesse A. Litapon was born in 1864 in Baguio City. He obtained his bachelor's degree from St. Louis University and his master's from Benguet State University, both in the Philippines. Throughout his career he held various teaching and administrative positions at several universities and schools in the Philippines, United States, Kuwait, and worked as the former dean of the graduate school at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

Research: Who is the person in front of you?

Jesse A. Litapon was born on December 8, 1864 in Baguio city. He has three kids to
his late Japanese wife Dr. Susan Mercado. They are Former Dean of the Graduate
School of Arts, Sciences and Education & College of PE, Recreation and Sports
at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

He showed early a rare intellect and proclivity for study as he obtained his first
bachelor’s degree at St. Louis University in Baguio city studied Bachelor of Science in
Psychology.

He then took up his Masteral course at Benguet State University and studied Master of
Arts in Physical Education. He then worked at the Philippine Military Academy in Baguio
city.

He also Studied Major in Developmental Delay and Professional course in Special


Education at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

He also studied at the Winchita State


University. He had to work at Jardine Middle School in Winchita, Kansas to support
himself in studying.

In Kuwait, Middle east, He upgraded his credentials by working at Kuwait Philippine


International School.

He also worked as an instructor at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

As pay-off on one of his alma mater, he is a part time instructor at Pamantasan ng


Lungsod ng Maynila.
