Statement of the Problem

The study aims to utilize the organic fertilizer of the waste materials of

Chicken and rotten rice husk for the production of Eggplant.

Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:

1. What is the level of the waste materials of Chicken for the production of

Eggplant in terms of plants height, general appearance of the fruit such as

length of the fruit and its weight, time of growth and sustainability?

2. What is the level of the rotten rice husk for the production of Eggplant in

terms of plants height, general appearance of the fruit such as length of

the fruit and its weight, time of growth and sustainability?

Hypothesis of the study

1. There is no significant difference between the effectiveness of waste

materials of Chicken and rotten rice husk for the production of Eggplant in

terms of general appearance, time of growth and sustainability.

Conceptual Model

IV DV
Waste materials of chicken

and rotten rice husk

Production of Eggplant

 Plants height
 General appearance
(length and weight
of fruit)
 Time of growth
 Sustainability

Figure 1. Hypothesized relationships between and among the variables of the

study

As shown, the study will determine the difference of the waste materials of

Chicken and rotten rice husk for the production of Eggplant. The two-tailed arrow

inside the variable box shows the hypothesized difference among each indicator

of the variables in utilizing the waste materials of Chicken and the rotten rice

husk.

Research Design
The method of this study used a Comparative Experimental design in

utilizing the waste materials of Chicken and the rotten rice husk that is applied on the

soil for the production of an Eggplant.

Data Gathering

Data will be record and gathered from the two sets of experimental

crops, the waste of chicken and the rotten rice husk for every treatment applied on

the soil.

Statistical Treatment of Data

The data that is collected, organized, and analyzed will use the analysis of

variance (ANOVA). Upon analyzing the data, Coefficient of variance (CV) is also use

to determine the accuracy of the data and estimation of the error during the conduct

of the study.
