Report to an Observation of Slime Rancher Let’s Play

On Sunday, April 9th 2007, I decided to watch a Let’s Play video of a game that I just
started to play called Slime Rancher. I watched the video on Youtube, and the video was
made by a youtuber named Wanderbots. He actually had played this game before, but he
decided to play it again. The video I watched is “Let’s Play Slime Rancher [Beta v0.5.0b] –
PC Gameplay Part 1 – Ultra Relaxy Time!”. Here is the report of my observation.

At the beginning of the video, he explained about the game and that he had played the
game before. After that, he started a new game with a new save files for adventure mode, and
he named it “Slllluuuuuuurmmm”. He played, and captured three pink slimes during the
game’s tutorial. He made a corral for the pink slimes. He found a pink plort and sold it to a
machine for selling plorts. He made a coop soon after, and put a chicken in it. He wandered
to a place called The Dry Reef, then picked thirteen pink slimes. He also collected carrots,
pink plorts, pogofruits, and chickadoos. He sold his plorts. He then ventured again to The Dry
Reef, and captured four rock slimes and two tabby slimes. He built a corral for the slimes,
and put them in it. He then filled it with six more tabby slimes. He bought a jet pack then he
built a garden after selling a few plorts. He then searched for carrots, and planted it in the
garden. He also merged the tabby slimes and the rock slimes into rock tabby slimes. The next
day, he ventured to The Dry Reef again, and collected thirteen carrots and twenty pogofruits.
He feed the veggies to the rock tabby slimes, and the fruit to the pink slimes. He then
collected their plorts and also all of his pink slimes. The video ended after he sold all of the
plorts.

The video is very helpful for me. It told me the basic of the game and where to get the
slimes, so it’s very helpful for me in the early game. The video also told me about what to do
in the early game, such as making a coop and how to sell the plorts. The thing about the game
that very confusing me is the map, so it was very helpful when the video show me where to
go. Although this kind of video is not a video that every players like, but this kind of video is
what you need when you want to have a proper preparation for the game or when you,
somehow, lost in the game.
