Nursing Communication

Nurse : “Good morning miss. How are you today?”

Patient : “I am fine, thanks you”

Nurse : “Did you sleep well last night?”

Patient : “I can’t sleep nurse”

Nurse : “Why you can’t sleep miss?”

Patient : “Because last night was crowded”

Nurse : “Well later I will say to people who visit the hospital is not crowded
anymore”

Patient : “Thanks you nurse”

Nurse : “ You are welcome, what is your complaint?”

Patient : “The infusion set leaked nurse.”

Nurse : “Oh Okay, I will replace the infusion set with the new one”

Patient : “Yes nurse”

Nurse ; “Do you have any else complain again miss?”

Patient : “If you enter the injection drug slowly nurse”

Nurse “Okay miss, don’t be afraid”

Patient : “Thanks you nurse”

Nurse : “You are welcome. Before that, I will inject this drug”

Patient : “Okay nurse, but slowly yes nurse”

Nurse : “Can your family take medicine at the pharmacy?”

Patient : “Yes alright nurse”


Nurse : “I hope you will get well soon”

Patient : “Amin,when can I go home nurse?”

Nurse : “You can go home if your condition be better and get permission from the
doctor miss”

Patient : “I hope tomorrow I can go home nurse”

Nurse : “Amin, I hope so. Okay its done. I will be back latter. Now you can rest first
miss”

Patient : “Yes nurse, thanks you”

Nurse : “You are welcome”

Patient : “ If I need you, how I call you nurse?”

Nurse : “You can botton in beside you miss”

Patient : “Okay nurse, thanks you”

Nurse : “Of course, you are welcome”


Asking Patient’s Feeling

Nurse : “Good afternoon, my name is chika. In here I will take care of you this
afternoon. Your name is miss Winda right?”

Patient : “Yes right nurse”

Nurse : “Did you have good sleep last night?”

Patient : “I didn’t sleep nurse”

Nurse : “Why you didn’t sleep?”

Patient : “Mybe the effect of the medicine”

Nurse : “Of course, so how do you fell, miss Winda?”

Patient :“I feel may stomach is sick nurse. I really feel unwell”

Nurse : “How long have you felt like this?”

Patient : “I feel this day”

Nurse : “Do you have allergic medicine?”

Patient : “No, I don’t have”

Nurse : “You must many eat”

Patient : “Okay nurse”

Nurse : “Have you taken medicine?”

Patient : “No I haven’t nurse”

Nurse : “Your family can take medicine in pharmacy”

Patient : “For the dose waiting from the doctor”

Nurse : “Do you have any else complain, miss?”

Patient : “No, just my stomach is sick”


Nurse : “Please, don’t eat spicy first!”

Patient : “Yes nurse”

Nurse : “Because it can make your stomach more painful”

Patient : “Alright”

Nurse : “And drink plenty of water, so as not to dehydrate”

Patient : “Yes nurse, I have drunk a lot”

Nurse : “Good, while eating porridge first miss”

Patient : “Okay nurse”

Nurse : “Do you want me to call the doctor!”

Patient : “Yes of course . Please, call the doctor know”

Nurse : “Okay I will call the doctor to check on your condition. Now you can rest
first”

Patient :“Yes nurse”

Nurse : “Guess the doctor will come in two hours”

Patient : “Okay nurse, no problem. Thanks you”

Nurse : “You are welcome. If you need me, press the button beside you. See you”

Patient : “See you too”
