HISTORY

The initiators of HP Company are Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard who were classmates at Stanford Universities.
They established the company in 1993, seventeen years ago. The first product of the company is called audio
oscillators, an electronic testing instrument used by sound engineers. The product is developed in Palo Alto
garage. Walt Disney studios were the first HP customers that bought a number of the audio oscillators for
testing a new sound system.
